How the Audi allroad takes the stress out of winter driving in Upper Saddle Creek

Audi has taken the idea of the quintessential winter vehicle, the all-terrain SUV, and turned it on its roof, creating the relatively new, A4-based Audi allroad -- a luxurious wagon that comes equipped with standard all-wheel drive.

Despite the stereotypically stale image of the station wagon, the Audi allroad is fresh and high-tech, including base-model-equipped xenon headlights, the Audi MMI infotainment system, a power tailgate and more. Premium wagons actually have a tendency to handle better due to their lower center of gravity, and that's something our Upper Saddle River, NJ really appreciate about the allroad.

But even with the science to back up Audi's pairing of the luxury wagon with AWD, there are still very few competitors on the market. Even so, the allroad is poised to overcome the competition -- maybe even drive right over it with its 7.1-inch ground clearance.

TestDriveNow.com's Steve Hammes goes inside the allroad Premium Plus model in the review below, and he comes out with plenty of compliments. Watch it here:
